Literature Text

You are as the sun is on a warm spring day,
as the flowers of the returning May,
cool and refreshing as the stream on Summer's hot mornings.

You are as the rain is on a tin roof,
the cool, refreshing breath of Autumn,
the colors of many distant memories gone by before the cold.

You are as the fire is amidst Winter's bitter winds,
the flow of the constant river hidden deep within the song of birds,
and the mystifying, wondrous howl of the coyote.

You are as the sunshine is on a cloudy day,
the rose that is rested in the morning dew,
and the love that I am so lucky to have as mine.
This is not really for anyone in particular at the moment. This just started coming to me during Chemistry class one day, so I just wrote it down, and then, well here you go!

Perhaps someday I'll find someone I can read this to.

So the usual, please don't steal this!

I will say that I was a bit late in submitting this. I wrote this maybe... a few months ago? I don't know. :P

That's beautiful. I love the effect of the last line - it inspires a soft, quiet, warm and fuzzy feeling. :meow: This was charming. Wonderful poem!
